Girl Scouts

An informal, educational organization in which girls are encouraged to build character and skills for success in the real world. In partnership with trained and dedicated leaders, girls develop qualities which will serve them all of their lives, such as strong values, a social conscience and the conviction of their own potential and self-worth.

Mom’s Group

A regular drop-in group where moms can enjoy fellowship and time away from their busy lives. The group meets on Tuesdays during the school year from 9:30 am – 11:00 am in Fellowship Hall. Child care is provided for ages one and up. Younger children stay with mom. All moms are welcome, whether they have young children or their children are in school. Meeting topics have included: faith, parenting skills, sharing recipes, crafts, cooking demonstrations and Mom’s Morning Out.  Regular Mom’s Night Out activities are also planned.

Saint Dennis Quilters

The group has given quilted comfort to those who fight for our country and provides warmth to others who have earned their peace. They teach and nurture all within the group and welcome new members.

Adult Co-Ed Volleyball

League play for all skill levels, from novice to seasoned players. The goal is both exercise and fellowship. Teams are chosen at random each year so that participants can get to know other members of the parish.

An outlet for active athletic interaction of parish members for physical fitness and a sense of parish community.

Bible Study/Faith Sharing

A number of Bible study and other faith-sharing groups meet periodically, using the Bible, videos on religious topics, and other materials to guide their discussion. Some groups have been meeting since 1998, but all groups are open to new members. Groups meet at night and on weekdays to accommodate various schedules. Previous topics have included: Vatican II, the miracles and parables of Jesus, the Eucharist and Mary.

Book Club

Knights of Columbus

An organization for Catholic men ages eighteen and older committed to exemplifying charity, fraternity, patriotism, and the support of religious vocations. A Knights of Columbus council can work wonders; in fact, with its many programs, it can help change the community, town, city or neighborhood in which you live. Funeral Luncheon Ministry

Members of the Women of Saint Dennis organization who volunteer to serve a luncheon to families after a funeral service at the parish.

Saint Dennis Festival

Annual parish event that takes place the last full weekend of July. Many parish volunteers work before, during and after the event to make this largest  fundraiser for the parish a community-builder and success.

Youth group activities are for both middle and high school students of Saint Dennis Parish. Our trips and service projects are intended to build community while instilling a love of service.

Concession Volunteers at Special Events

Help generate much-needed funds while having fun at UW sporting events, concerts, the Madison Marathon and more! You can elect to direct funds to specific groups, such as Belize, Choir, Athletics or the school. We’re always in need of new volunteers; no experience is necessary.

Garden/Flower Bed Volunteers
